ABOUT US

Kohoutek (Rooster) is not just a dance ensemble but a living museum that revives our cultural heritage for us and future generations. Each performance by Kohoutek is like a journey through time, transporting us to an era when life sounded different.

Our group showcases dances, songs, and traditions primarily from the eastern regions of Bohemia. In addition to our local Chrudim region, we also present the regions of Nasavrky and Polabí. We operate at the Spolkový dům in Chrudim and collaborate closely with the cultural center “Chrudimská beseda” in Chrudim.
